Winners of various events with the chief guests at the valedictory ceremony.

        Velammal School's boys and girls teams dominated the inter-school competition, organised by the school in which over 1,500 students from 125 institutions in and around Chennai participated.

        The school's teams secured nine trophies in the competitions held for the last four days. The school bagged trophies in volleyball (boys), kabaddi (boys), cricket (boys), chess (boys) and (girls), fencing (boys and girls), kho- kho (boys), and yoga (girls).

        The boys team of Green Valley MHSS emerged victorious in football, while Santhome MHSS won the trophy in table tennis.

        The other schools, who performed well were St. Vincent MHSS, Velammal MHSS (West), Sethu Baskara MHSS, BS Mootha MHSS, Lady Sivasamy MHSS and St. John's MHSS. Thirumalaisamy, Vice-chancellor, Tamilnadu Physical Education University, presided over the valedictory.

        The event was sponsored by Velammal International School, Panchetti and organised by Velammal MHSS, TSK Nagar, Mogappair.
