        A 60-year-old-man was stabbed by his relative following a land dispute at Orathi village near here yesterday.

        According to the police, Ezhumalai, a resident of Orathi village had a legal dispute over a piece of land with his relative Narayanan.

        Yesterday, when Ezhumalai was returning home from his farm, Narayanan verbally abused him and stabbed him with a knife. Ezhumalai, who sustained serious injuries, was rushed to Vellore CMC Hospital.

        Orathi police have registered a case and arrested Narayanan.
