and principal of Queen Mary's College Eugenie Pinto are also present.

'India will play a major role in fast breeder reactors (FBR) by 2020 and will be in a position to export the same', said director of Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) Baldev Raj here recently.

Addressing mediapersons after a workshop on 'Research and Career Opportunities for Physicists and Chemists' organised by IGCAR at Queen Mary's College, Baldev Raj said four fast breeder reactors with a capacity of 500 mega watt each would be built by 2020.

This included two at Kalpakkam with an investment of Rs 2,500 crore each.
