        Singing a bhajan along with a noted vocalist must be a dream for any beginner in Carnatic music. So, to satisfy their needs, Bhakthaswaraa Educational and Social Trust (BEST), engaged in conducting Bhajan Mandali, for more than two decades has planned to conduct a mass recital programme where people would have a chance to participate in singing bhajans along with noted Carnatic vocalist O S Arun.

        Speaking to News Today, managing trustee of BEST N Kannan said that through Mandali, the trust was engaged in socio-cultural activities apart from performing regular bhajans.

        As part of inaugurating the trust formally on 4 February, Arun would render bhajans along with 70 students from various schools in Chennai. N Murali, proprietor, Sri Krishna Sweets, would formally inaugurate the trust. The function would be held at Sri Krishna Gana Sabha on Maharajapuram Santhanam Salai, T Nagar (opp Muppathamman Temple) and the tickets are available at select branches of Sree Krishna Sweets, Chennai.
