        With VAT coming into force from 1 January, 2007, Vasanth & Co has reduced prices on its product range besides offering discounts during the mega sale between 1-7 January, 2007.

        According to Vasanth & Co proprietor H Vasantha Kumar, the prices for the home appliances and consumer durables have been reduced in post-VAT regime benefiting the consumers to great extent. Adding value to this, is the discounts being offered on purchased during the mega sale.

        For purchase of LCD television, customers will get one gram gold coin plus Tata Sky DTH, Tata walky-talky, DVD player and home theatre free while for purchase of airconditioners, half a gram gold coin will be offered free.

        Listing out the reduced prices for the product range, he said that TCL 21 inches TV (300 watts) is being offered at a price of Rs 5,790 while 29 flat TV (400 watts) is sold at Rs 11,790.

        There are lots of free gifts for purchase of table top grinders of reputed brands at a price of Rs 2,490 and colour television is now available at a price range from Rs 3,990 and Nokia mobile phones at Rs 1,990.

        Special discounts will be offered for purchase of LCDs and triple zero per cent offer ( zero per cent processing fee, zero per cent bydown and zero per cent interest) on purchase of select models. And there is no service charge for credit cards besides offering instalment scheme for purchase.

        Another redeeming feature is that the ICICI card customers will get money back scheme ranging from 1 to 100 per cent besides winning TVS Apache bike.
