Chennai, Oct 2:
The Hindu Munnai today demanded action against the DMK and other parties, which had spoken about Judges and the Judiciary in derogatory terms.
In a statement here, founder-organiser of the Hindu Munnani, Ramagopalan said that observations of Union Minister T R Baalu and State Ministers Arcot N Veerasamy, MK Stalin besides others like Communist leader Ta Pandian were objectionable and in bad taste.
He charged the DMK-led Democratic Progress Alliance leaders with repeatedly lying that Sethu samudram project is facing obstacles. Ramagopalan also denied the charge that they were agitating on the issue only after the Sethu project was formally initiated.
He said that from the beginning
they wanted protection to Ramar bridge, Kothandaramar temple and Dhaushkodi.
The Hindu Munnani leader also slammed the Congress leadership for trying
to support Karunanidhi by saying that the Chief Minister was following
Gandhian principles.
