        A drunken man, who allegedly made advances to a woman at Washermanpet here, has been arrested by the police.

        According to police sources, the arrested Chella got drunk and pulled the hand of Parvathi (30), wife of Ganesan, a mason at V O C Nagar. The woman cried for help and the man fled the scene on seeing some neighbours rushing towards him.

        Later, based on a complaint, New Washermenpet police took Chella into custody.
