        UTI-Growth Sector Fund-Petro (UTI-GSF-Petro) has declared tax-free dividend of 20 per cent (Rs 2 per unit on face value of Rs 10).

        Pursuant to the payment of dividend, the NAV of the dividend option of the scheme would fall to the extent of payout and statutory levy if any.

        The record date for the dividend is 1 December, 2006. All unit holders registered under the dividend option of UTI-GSF-Petro as on 1 December, 2006 will be eligible for this dividend. Also investors who join the dividend option of the scheme on or before the record date will be eligible for the dividend.

        The NAV per unit as on 27 November, 2006 was Rs 20.21 under the dividend option. Assuming that all payouts / bonus during the period have been reinvested in units of the scheme at the immediate ex-dividend NAV past performance may or may not be sustained in the future.
