        A one-day conference on 'Networks and Security' will be held at Kumararani Meena Muthiah College of Arts and Science at Adyar on 6 February. Department of Electronics and Communication will organise the conference.

        According to a press release, the conference will provide a platform to probe into various applications of networks which have become an essential commodity for surveillance in the current scenario driven by knowledge economy and globalisation. Students and staff of various city colleges are expected to participate in the meet.
