Chennai, July 5:
State Tourism Minister N Suresh Rajan will inaugurate a training course for guides organised by Anna Institute of Management, Chennai from 11 July.
According to a press release,
around 34 persons would be trained as tourist guides in Chennai. The training
period will be for 10 days, out of which three days would be of field visit.
After completing the training, candidates will work as a guide on self-employment
basis at Chennai, Mamallapuram, Madurai, Kaniyakumari, Udhagamandalam and
Thanjavur. Subsequent batches will be trained in Madurai, Thanjavur and
Kanniyakumari.
