Sudhir S Rangnekar, group CEO, Sical Logistics, along with Alan G Waller, vice-president, Solving International, and Mark Goh, director, Logistics Institute - Asia Pacific at National University of Singapore at the awards ceremony in Mumbai recently.

        Sical Logistics Ltd was awarded the Best Logistics Provider in bulk category at the Express and Supply Chain Awards ceremony held in Mumbai recently.

        The coveted award was received by Sudhir S Rangnekar, managing director and Group CEO of Sical Logistics. The awards ceremony was part of a global conclave on Express, Logistics and Supply Chain held on 28 - 29 September in Mumbai.

        The logistics award was presented to Sical Logistics by Nigel Goode, director of the conclave and director, sales at Maersk. The participating companies were reviewed by an advisory council of 22 jury members headed by Goode. The research partner for the awards was A C Nielsen, the research agency. Criteria such as customer service, range of services, value added offerings and size of network were assessed for each participant.

        'We are honored to receive the award for the Best Logistics Provider in Bulk Logistics. For more than 52 years, Sical has provided world class services to the bulk logistics sector. We continue to be the largest bulk cargo hander in the subcontinent by volume, moving 22 million tonnes of goods annually,' said Rangnekar.
