        Central Bank of India has reduced interest rates by 50 basis points for the festive season with effect from 1 October.

        Housing loans would be offered at attractive rates of interest ranging from 9 per cent to a maximum of 10.75 per cent depending on the period and the quantum of loan. Vehicle loans is available at rate of 10 per cent for repayment period of 36 months. Consumer loans would be offered at rate of 13.50 per cent.
