        The inaugural function of the celebration of the platinum jubilee year of the Society of Auditors will be held tomorrow at Hotel Savera at 10 am.

        On this occasion, the society will try to recapitulate its glorious journey in promoting the profession of accountancy and also in rendering yeomen service to members and students of the Chartered Accountancy discipline.

        According to a press release, the society has acquired its own premises 'Platinum Chambers' in Mylapore, where it conducts orientation programmes for young aspirants to this profession.

        The society is also planning to conduct a mentorship programme for 15 days for those students who are interested in pursuing charted accountancy.
