        In a bid to bring employers and job aspirants on a single platform, Axon Infosoft, a software solutions provider for apparel and textile sectors is organising for two-day fair at Tirupur on 28 July.

        According to C S Manohar, chief executive officer, Axon Infosoft, the event is being organised under the guidance of Textiles Committee and supported by various associations, including the Powerloom Development Export Promotional Council.

        As many as 5,000 personnel would be recruited through the fair, though the demand for skilled workers was 10 times more, with the industry growing at 20 per cent.

        He expressed concern that there is lack of interest among the jobless to undergo training to get a suitable placement after successful completion.

        Job aspirants from main cities across south India and SAARC nations are expected to attend the fair. Candidates in categories right from lower, middle and top level management for both technical and non-technical would be selected for the respective jobs.
