        Three boys who reportedly ran away from their houses in Tiruchi with a desire to meeting actors Ajith and Vijay in Chennai were rescued and handed over to their parents.

        Police said Shahul Hameed (10), son of Mohammed Ajit, belonging to Azhwarthoppu, and Sirajuddin (10), son of Kadhar Basha ,from the same area, and John Basha (10), son of Kadhar Hussain, boarded a train to Egmore on Friday.

        Then, the boys reached Vadapalani bus- stand. Without knowing where to proceed further they stood perplexed. This was noticed by a policeman on security duty. On questioning them it was learnt they had run away from their homes. The children's parents were notified.
