        The State Government has announced the fee structure for the self-financing medical colleges which is affiliated under Dr M G R Medical University for the academic year 2007-08.

        According to a official release, the fee structure would be as per the recommendations of the Justice Raman Committee. It as follows:

        Chettinad Medical College, Padur, Kanchipuram district — Rs 3 lakh (a 15 per cent concession from the prescribed amount for poor students), P S G Medical College, Coimbatore — Rs 2.25 lakh and Sri Mookambikai Medical College, Kanyakumari district — Rs 2.40 lakh.
