        Tanishq announces pre-booking offer for Akshaya Tritiya. Th special offer entitles customers in Tamilnadu to a 40 per cent discount on making charges on gold jewellery.

        Besides, it has also announced a discount of 5 per cent on al diamond jewellery. The pre-booking offer which is valid from 6 April to 18 April, 2007 allows the customers to hedge the rising prices of gold by pre-booking jewellery in advance and purchasing it on Akshaya Tritiya at the booked rate. For pre-booking, customers have to pay a nominal 25 per cent as advance payment.
