Enterprise solutions developer Oracle is continuing to reinforce its leadership role in supply chain management (SCM) by winning top honours at three industry events recently.
Selections for these awards were made on the basis of peer reviews by an expert panel and end-user surveys. The Best Supply Chain Software Solution Provider was given by SCM Logistics World 2006 at Singapore, recognising the Oracle's performance in logistics across
Asia Pacific. Another award titled Logistics Solutions Provider of the Year at the China Logistics Summit recognised leading companies that were shaping the world markets in software development.
Similarly, Oracle also won
Logistics Brand of the Year at an innovation conference at Beijing organised
by China Logistics and Technology Association. Jasbir Singh, director,
SCM, Asia Pacific, Oracle, said these honours reinforced the company's
dominance in SCM. 'Customers are using Oracle's portfolio to address real-time,
complex SCM network, and are getting back value proposition with quantifiable
benefits,' he said.
