For that sizzling experience, step into signature restaurant Citrus at Savera Hotels and go for it. We're talking about high-quality, authentic, part Indian, part western, part vegetable, part meat steaks that are made available at this restaurant the steaks festival of which began on Wednesday.
Steaks that are hard to come by in this part of the town are dished out from the seasoned hands of corporate chef Giridharan, who has ensured that each of the varieties is original, authentic to the core. Though some on the list, which is a la carte, may not be relishing to the native palate, the chef says, 'there are lots to cater to all kinds of tastes.' The variety would speak for itself, he adds.
Speaking in between the rounds to the table, manager of Citrus R Easwar told News Today: 'We've always been churning out some festival or other, mostly by public demand, to ensure that the guests flow is sustained. This steak festival is an annual event at Citrus, and we've had a tremendous response from the native food-lover and the foreign gourmet as well.'
Very occasionally does a restaurant serve steak as a three-course meal. There are a number of refresher drinks to keep you going to the main course which has an entire range of Burgundy Steak, Lamb Steak Sizzler, Hot Tofu Steak and Mixed Vegetable Sizzler among others.
And the best to wash it all down are the delicious desserts such as Double Chocolate and a morsel of the finest for the calorie-conscious. The festival is open for lunch and dinner till 10 March.
