VETA goes to Madipakkam

        How good are you at spoken English? Here is an opportunity for those residing in and around Madipakkam to get their English speaking skills improvised.

        Vivekananda English Training Academy (VETA) offers courses on spoken English at their new centre in Madipakkam starting from 12 February, 2007.

        The program has been split into three levels—Foundation English, Fluent English and VETA pro-English. Each course provides approximately 40-80 hours of comprehensive training and takes a step-by-step approach.

        The trainers at VETA constantly undergo training in order to be aware of the changes in the market as well as the needs of the students. Emphasis is on speech generation formula techniques and professional training methods.

Open House meet tomorrow

        Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) will conduct an Open House meeting at all metrowater area offices tomorrow, between 10 am and 1 pm.

        Consumers can furnish their complaints regarding water supply and sewage removal. They can also clarify their doubts regarding water, sewerage tax and water charges at the meeting.

        During the last month meeting, 61 complaints were received regarding water and sewage disposal and 53 complaints have been redressed. The rest of the complaints are being looked into, a press release said.
