Work is on for 'Planting of Avenue Trees' along the entry point to Nanganallur.

        Rotary Club of Nanganallur, as part of its greenery project, plans to kick-start 'Planting of Avenue Trees' at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Meenambakkam, on 11 February.

        The chief guest will be District Governor Rotarian J B Kamdar. Chairman of Alandur Municipality R S Bharathy is the guest of honour. Felicitations will be offered by principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Meenambakkam, Xavier and Councillor of Alandur Municipality Ramadoss. President of Rotary Club Nanganallur V Thiagarajan, its secretary M S Sundararajan and Director - Community Service (Development) R Sundararajan are expected to take part in the initiative.
