M K Acharya, managing director, CPCL, at the inauguration of the 27th PSPB inter-unit cricket tournament in Chennai yesterday.

        The 27th Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) inter-unit cricket (Mini) tournament, organised by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) got underway here yesterday.

        K K Acharya, managing director, CPCL, inaugurated the tournament at the ICF grounds here. V K Bawa, joint secretary, PSPB and S Chandrasekaran, director (Technical), CPCL and president of the organising committee, offered felicitations.

        V Srinivasan, general manager (HR) and company secretary, CPCL and vice-president of the organising committee, welcomed the gathering. P Rajasekaran, joint secretary of the organising committee, proposed a vote of thanks. Seven teams from petroleum companies all over the country are taking part in the six-day tournament, a press release here said.

        The following are the participating teams - GAIL, Engineers India Ltd, HPCL, IBP Ltd, Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Ltd, Oil India Ltd and CPCL.
