Producer-director Charan grabbed the limelight for coming out with a huge invitation resembling a thayathu (beads) for the launch of his movie Muni, a few months ago.
Now, for the audio launch of Muni, Charan has different plans. The audio release of Muni (directed by Lawrence Raghavendra) will witness coming together of several thousands named Muni from various parts of the State tomorrow in Chennai.
Thousands of patron named after Nathamuni, Munisamy, Muniappan are expected to line up for the Muni Festival on the day at the famous Muni temple located in Burma Colony, Defence Grounds, Nandambakkam. A huge 40-feet Muniswaran statue has been erected for the purpose.
The Munis who gather on the occasion will get a chance to take a special photograph with the star cast and appear in a song Varanda Muni.
The movie starring Raj Kiran, Lawrence Raghavendra and Keerthy Chawla has musical score by Bharadwaj.
It only justifies that grandeur has always been part of Kollywood cinema. And producers go to any length to market their films.
