MCC school shine in science expo

        The Madras Christian College (MCC) Higher Secondary School has won second prize in the 33rd State level Jawaharlal Nehru Inter School Science exhibition conducted at St Mary's High School, Madurai from 3 to 7 January.

        Around 240 schools exhibited their models at exhibition organised by the Tamilnadu School Education Department, according to a press release.

        The MCC High School team comprising D Dilipkumar and S A Zameeq exhibited the model under the guidance of their teachers D Samuel Ponraj and D S Gnanadason.

        The team represented the Chennai district with the topic 'Educational Technology and Mathematical Modelling'.

        The model has been selected to participate in the south Indian Science Fair to be held in Hubli, Karnataka from 22 to 26 January, the release said.
