        Chennai-based Sundaram Infotech Solutions Ltd (SISL), the IT arm of Sundaram Finance Ltd, has announced that it has struck a marketing partnership with Jordan-based Business Soft to target the Jordan market with the Axapta ERP solution. The partnership will focus primarily on the Financial Services and Manufacturing verticals.

        SISL is one of the largest partners of Axapta, the ERP solution from Microsoft. Axapta comprises modules addressing the total and integrated information needs of an enterprise. Microsoft ERP automates and helps improve financial and customer relationship as well as supply chain management.

        As part of the partnership, Sundaram Infotech will provide the technology solutions and support delivery, both on site and off shore from its Chennai software development facility, while Business Soft will handle the sales and account management with the customers in Jordan.

        Commenting on the partnership, Srinivas Acharya, deputy managing director, Sundaram Finance Ltd, and CEO, SISL, said, 'Our growth strategy as we expand into a new geography is to partner with leading local players in that market. Business Soft has a proven track record in the Jordan market and we are confident that our partnership will add value to our offerings in that market.'

        J Raghunathan, vice president, Sundaram Infotech said, 'This partnership, to target the Jordan ERP market, combines the strong sales and marketing expertise of Business Soft with the offshore development and delivery capabilities of Sundaram Infotech.'

        Sundaram Infotech had earlier this year bagged a couple of Axapta ERP training deals in Jordan.

        SISL's offerings include development and implementation of software products, consulting and implementation of Microsoft business solutions - Axapta and Navision, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions, web solutions across technologies, network consultancy and management, and facilities management.

        SISL has a 50000 sq ft offshore software development facility in Chennai.
