        Alliance Air, the wholly owned subsidiary of natio-nal carrier Indian, would introduce a daily service between Kochi and Agatti in the Lakshadweep islands from July this year.

        The Alliance Air service, planned to be operated on a daily basis, would leave Kochi at 11.50 am and reach Agatti at 1.15 pm. In the return direction, the flight would leave Agatti at 1.35 pm to touch base at Kochi at 3 pm.

        The operation of the ATR-42 service would more than double the capacity offered by Indian on this sector.
