850 candidates to get degrees tomorrow

        The 13th convocation of National Board of Examinations (Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India) has been scheduled tomorrow at the Madras University Centenary Auditorium, Chepauk.

        Announcing at a press conference here yesterday, professor A Rajasekaran, president, National Board of Examinations, said Union Home Minister Shivraj V Patil would be the chief guest on the occasion.

        Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Anbumani Ramadoss would deliver the convocation address, Rajasekaran said adding that Chief Minister M Karunanidhi would award medals to top- rankers.

        He also said that about 850 candidates hailing from different parts of the country were expected to receive their degrees.
