        A festival bonanza for Allahabad Bank customers. As part of the forthcoming festivities, Allahabad Bank has slashed the interes rates on housing loans upto 0.75 per cent per annum for five years, 0.50 per cent for loans above five years across the board both on floating and fixed rates sanctioned by the bank between 1 October and 31 December 2007.

        This reduction of interest rates on housing loans is applicable for both above and below Rs 20 lakh.
