        Eaton Corporation named Shyam Kambeyanda as the managing director for India operations. His appointment stands effective from 1 November, 2007.

        Kambeyanda will report to James McGill, Eaton vice president—Asia Pacific and will be located in India. Dee Walter who has been appointed as the director, Human Resources will report to Kambeyanda.

        In his role, Kumbeyanda will be responsible for working with Eaton business to develop strategies that build Eaton's overall presence and success in India. Walter will be responsible for the overall human resources function in India.

        'Shyam has an extremely successful Eaton track record as well as a strong understanding of the Asia Pacific region,' said McGill. 'His keen international insight will help drive our continued growth in this important market. And we look forward to Dee's HR process leadership as we continue to solidify world class infrastructure and attract talent for our multiple Eaton business entities on the Pune campus.'

        Kambeyanda joined Eaton in 1995 in the automobile group and has since held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, quality, e-commerce, product strategy and operations management in the US, Mexico, Europe and Asia.
