Airport Authority of India has decided to set up a new domestic terminal at a cost of Rs 300 crore on the existing Chennai airport premises itself.
According to sources, the decision to construct the terminal on the premises was taken up by AAI after considering the protest from the local people over the land acquisition. The administrative complex and the official quarters in the airport would be demolished to pave way for the new second domestic terminal.
Yoga classes from tomorrow

A three-month yoga programme will be conducted by the Varahas Gurucool from tomorrow.
According to a press release,
the Varaha power yoga would be conducted in two batches - 6.30 am to 7.30
am and 10.am to 11am. Separate batches for ladies are also available. The
course contains surya namaskar, asanas, pranayana, relaxation techniques
