        Shasun Chemicals and Drugs announced the appointment of N Govindarajan as chief executive officer and managing director for its UK-based wholly owned subsidiary Shasun Pharma Solutions Ltd. The posting is for an interim period. Govindarajan joined Shasun as a general manager, R&D, project and planning in January 2000. In a term less than 18 months, he rose to the level of vice president. During his tenure as VP, he was personally responsible for the successful scale-up of key custom synthesis projects to the commercial level by developing relationships with MNCs.P

        Rajesh Ananthasubramanian has been posted as chief executive officer for Brand Portrait Consulting Pvt Ltd's US operations. Rajesh will be responsible for managing the company's activities in US and Canada. This appointment provides Brand Portrait, with the opportunity to focus on its international expansion and tap the US and Canadian market, as the company embarks on the first stage of its international development programme. Prior to joining Brand Portrait Consultancies, Rajesh was the CEO of India Plaza, an online Indian shopping portal. He takes the credit of integrating two ecommerce websites (Indiaplaza.com and Fabmall.com) in a single platform.
