A national level seminar on 'Management and Conservation of Nature Hills of Nilgiris Biosphere Reserve' was held at Emerald Heights College for women here recently.
Around 260 candidates from Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Kerala participated and presented 23 papers on the subject.
Wild life biologist Arumugam spoke on wildlife management and man animal conflict. Kerala forest Research institute scientist Dr Jayson narrated on endangered species.
Also, Dr Rajan spoke on medicinal plants and Mohanraj of world wide fund for nature of India spoke on tourism development on hills of Nilgiris.
