Prince of Arcot Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali today met the blast victims who were undergoing treatment at Government Hospital in Ajmer.
The Nawab who is the president of the Ajmer Dargah Committee in a statement condemned the barbarous and inhuman attack outside the India's best known Sufi Shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty at Ajmer on 11 October, which killed two people and left many injured. He also regretted that it was done in the holy month of Ramadan.
He said it was a clear act of cowardice who wanted to disturb the communal harmony, secularism and peaceful co-existence of various faiths in our secular country. The Dargah Committee demanded thorough probe by the CBI, so that unbiased investigation could be carried out and the culprits are booked at the earliest.
The Committee has sanctioned an ex-gratia payment of Rs one lakh to the kith and kin of the two deceased and Rs 50,000 to those who were injured. The Nawab was accompanied by a five-member delegation to Ajmer.

Shivraj Patil also visited the Dargah Khwaja Sahab and inspected the site
of the blast and also visited the injured in the hospital.
