Guha said the India was going through a robust transformation. The first and foremost change in the Indian economy is in the realm of economy.
From agricultural sector it took a quick transformation to industrial sector. In case of human settlement it got shifted from a village- based society to a city-based society, he said. Further from a colonised civilisation to a individual set- up and finally from a hierachial society to a democratic set- up, he added.
Guha who briefed about his book India after Gandhi-the history of the world's largest democracy said the book highlights the pain and the struggle, the humiliations and the glories of the world's largest democracy country.
