        Two students from Velammal Matric HSS topped the charts in Tiruvallur for the results of the Plus Two examinations that were declared yesterday.

Both M E Sudhakar and B Nithya have secured first rank with 1174 marks (out of 1,200) at the higher secondary exams (Plus Two), thus scoring highest marks in Tiruvallur district.         Students of the same school - V Neethu, R Nirmal and M Mythra Bhavani, have got second rank in Tiruvallur district with 1167 marks.         Besides, Velammal School has produced subject toppers in the State.         P Rajeswari secured the top rank in Economics with 199 marks, while S Harish got the second rank in Tamil language with 196 marks.
