        Tata Teleservices in association with Samsung Telecommunications India has introduced internet on mobile.

        Briefing presspersons about the Samsung explore mobile, Srinivas Rao Sarapalli, COO, Tamilnadu circle, Tata Teleservices Limited said that the handset priced at Rs 5,499 is designed to get a rich and full internet experience on handsets.

        The internet access comes at prices ranging from Rs 10 per day to Rs 99 for a month. Moreover, the handset comes with a connection that offers incoming facility for a year and free 1,000-minutes Tata-to-Tata calling at no extra cost. The Qualcomm Single Chip (QSC) solutions brought by CDMA enables cost-competitive devices with features such as polyphonic ring tones, wallpapers, games, MP3 player and digital camera.

        Also, the customer will get a 7-day trial offer of free unlimited internet access at a speed 3-4 times faster than GPRS.

        Tata Teleservices operates in more than 3400 towns across 20 circles and has a customer base of over 19million. SamsungTelecomm- unications India, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co, which caters to the world's largest emerging telecom market has phone manufacturing units at Manesar and at Haryana.
