        Chennai City Police Commissioner Letika Saran today said that polling was peaceful in all the 67 wards in Chennai.

        Speaking to reporters here, Letika said that no untoward incidents were reported in any booth. However, the polling was a meagre 12 per cent till 11.30 am.

        Regarding complaints over phone, she said that they had picked up few persons for interrogation from some areas and no arrest had been made so far. And no booth capturing has been reported.

        Adequate police personnel have been deployed in sensitive booths to prevent any untoward incidents.
