        Analysing the jihadi mindset, Prafull Goradia and KR. Phanda have rightly observed 'it's short-sighted to crush the terrorists and be satisfied. If Islamist violence is to be eliminated, the very ideology that fosters jihad needs to be squarely challenged.' Islamist terrorism is the greatest menace that the Christian, Buddhist and Hindu civilisations face today. Jihadi terrorism is the greatest challenge confronting our nation today. It derives its ideological inspiration from the tenets of the Quran and operational ballast from the pseudo-secular Islam-embracing, Christianity-coveting and Hindu-hating political vote-bank ideology of anti-nation UPA government in New Delhi.

        Sita Ram Goel, an intellectual Kshtriya in the line of Shri. Aurobindo in his book The Story of Islamic Imperialism in India observes: 'It is in the living memory of this pseudo-secular ruling class that Islamic imperialism became a blood-thirsty monster, and carved out large limbs of the motherland on our East and West. It is in the living memory of this ruling class that Islamic Imperialism 'cleaned up' its separate State of Pakistan from the 'curse' of Hindu infidels. And it is under the very nose of this ruling class that Islamic Imperialism, aided and abetted by petro-dollars, has started claiming for itself the rest of India as well, by a right of conquest in the past.'

        Islamic imperialism has only to dispute the fact that India is a Hindu homeland, and that the age-old Hindu society constitutes the core the Indian nation with which non-Hindu communities should get integrated. This is enough to bolster up the ruling class of secularists and communists immediately to proclaim from the housetop that Hindu society is a heterogeneous mass divided by a race, religion, sect, caste, class, language, dress, food habits, local traditions, manners and mores, and what not, and united by nothing better than a shared slavery under the erstwhile British rulers! It is of no avail to tell this ruling class that the British rulers like Sir Thomas Manro, Lord Malcolm and others were acutely aware of a deeper underlying unity informing the vast and variegated fabric of Hindu society. It is not convinced by any amount of evidence that the British rulers did all in their power to undermine that unity in pursuance of their imperialist interest. It is therefore logical for this ruling class to assert, rather aggressively, that Hindus have never been a Nation. Above all, they proudly claim that they had inherited the British 'moral responsibility' for protecting the 'Muslim minority.' The only thing it has politically manipulated is that it has cleverly managed not to inherit the British awareness of a deeper unity which holds the Hindu society together. This wicked vote-bank Congress brand political subterfuge is eulogised as 'National Integration.' Sita Ram Goel concludes with conviction and clarity 'In plain and simple language, therefore, 'National Integration' has come to mean only one thing, namely, that a meek Hindu society should get integrated with a militant Muslim millat.'

        In a landmark article titled JIHADI TERRORISM—DITHERING AS POLICY, B Raman, formerly Additional Secretary to the government of India and an acknowledged authority on National Security (very definitely not National Insecurity!!!) has presented in a masterly manner the anatomy, the physiology, the pathology, the neurology and above all the endocrinology of jihadi terrorism in India. I can do no better than just quote his exact words derived from his unmatched official experience:

        'In the first stage (1989-90), the J&K Liberation Front (JKLF), which demands independence for the State, was in the forefront. In the second stage (1990-93), Kashmiri organisations sponsored by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) such as the Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), which called for the transfer of the State to Pakistan, took over the leadership. In the third stage (1993-98), dissatisfied by the ground performance of the Kashmiri organisations, the ISI infiltrated into the State Pakistani jihadi organisations, consisting largely of Pakistani nationals, to step up the jihadi terrorism against the Indian State. Initially, the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LET) and the Harkat-ul-Mujahideen (HUM) infiltrated. These were followed by the Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (HUJI) and the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JEM). These are pan-Islamic organisations, whose agenda is not confined to only J&K. They have a much larger agenda of Arabising/Wahabising Islam in India by weaning the Indian Muslims away from their cultural roots and 'liberating' the Muslims living in different parts of India and creating new independent 'homelands' for Muslims in North and South India. They envisage the eventual incorporation of the independent Muslim 'homelands' thus created in an Islamic Caliphate encompassing the entire global Islamic Ummah.'

        In February, 1998, Osama bin Laden announced from Kandahar in Afghanistan the creation of an International Islamic Front (IIF) For Jihad against the Crusaders and the Jewish People. The HUM and the HUJI initially joined the IIF. The HUJI and the LET joined the IIF subsequently. In the fourth stage, which started in 1999, the Pakistani jihadi organisations, which have joined the IIF, have taken over the leadership of the terrorist movement in J&K. From 1993-98, the Jihadi terrorist movement outside Kashmir was largely in the hands of the Indian Muslim youth owing allegiance to the SIMI, the Al Ummah of Tamilnadu and other similar organisations. The ISI's role was confined to the provision of training, funds and arms and ammunition. From 1999-2005 the ISI-supported Pakistani jihadi terrorist organisations, and spread out to other parts of India from J&K in order to better motivate the Indian Muslims and beef up their jihad against the Indian State and society. They gave a pan-Islamic orientation to the jihad, began a campaign for the Arabisation/Wahabisation of the Indian Muslim youth and started guiding organisations such as the SIMI. They started preaching a two-culture theory, holding that the Muslim culture, which (according to them) owes its inspiration to the Arab world and Central Asia, cannot co-exist with Sanatana Dharma and Hindu culture. They sought to weaken the cultural solidarity of the Indian people, which, in their view, stood in the way of the Indian Muslims identifying themselves with their co-religionists in the rest of the world.         The current Jihad against India began in April, 2006 when Osama bin Laden projected the global jihad as directed against the joint conspiracy of the Crusaders, the Jewish people and the Hindus against Islam. Thus began the process of making the jihadi terrorism in India a part of the global jihad movement. More than 50 per cent of those involved in acts of jihadi terrorism in the Indian Territory outside J&K are Indian Muslims. The remaining are Pakistani and Bangladeshi nationals. The Pakistani military-intelligence establishment has been clandestinely helping in the spread of this terrorism to other parts of India outside J&K in order to create pockets of political and economic instability in India and to prevent the emergence of India as a major economic and military power on par with China.

        His strategic conclusions can be summarised as follows:

        a) Our total governmental failure to strengthen our counter-terrorism capability.

        b) Our reluctance to empower the police and the security agencies to act firmly against the terrorists.

        c) Our pseudo-secular and hesitation to expose and counter the venomous propaganda indulged in by these jihadi elements for fear of being accused as being anti-secular.

        d) Our voluntarily closing our eyes to the dangers posed to national security by the large number of illegal Muslim immigrants from Bangladesh in our midst, who provide sanctuaries to the foreign jihadi terrorists.

        e) Our foolish hesitation to act against the flow of petro-money from Saudi Arabia and other countries of the Ummah for promoting the Arabisation of Indian Islam.

        f) Musharraf of Pakistan and his terrorist boys in Jammu and Kashmir and the rest of India have a divine right to hate us all non-Muslims and use all the weapons of Jihadi terrorism against India. It will be our bounden KAFIR duty to make love to them at any cost and continuously talk of unstoppable continuance of the sacred Peace Process with Terrorist Pakistan with pseudo-secular dedication and enthusiasm. We continue to open up our railways, our airways, our roads, our army, our navy and our air force to all the well meaning terrorists of ever compassionate Islam!!!

        The effeminate Nehru was fond of crying out Chini Chini Bhai Bhai!! China invaded us in 1962. Today we are crying out Paki Paki Bhai Bhai!! Pakistan will invade India at any moment to the joy and full satisfaction of malevolent PSEUDO-SECULARISTS and COMMUNISTS of UPA government in New Delhi.

        According to B Raman: 'Our political leadership continues to be in a denial mode. It fails to admit the presence in our midst of elements working against our nation and society. It hesitates to act against them. Partisan political considerations have assumed ascendancy over national interests. The guiding principle of all our actions is the hope that somehow jihadi terrorism will lose its steam and our Muslim youth will refuse to be lured by it. This hope is likely to be illusory. Unless public opinion asserts itself and forces the political leadership to stop dithering and start acting, blood will continue to flow. Samshayatma vinashyathi—those who dither, ultimately perish. This is the lesson of history.'

        Against this ghastly background, I appeal to the government of India to take action on a war footing to beef up our National Security by extending an invitation to B RAMAN to take up the post of NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR. This can happen only if government of India stops defining National Security as NATIONAL INSECURITY in actual practice.
