        The freedom to open one's mouth in India

        Exists even when

        Some people proclaim

        With democratic enthusiasm

        They are being made to shut up
 

        On the contrary

        You need simply make a list of all

        That comes out of mouths

        That seem to be shut
 

        Firstly helpless screams

        Secondly at the start

        And perhaps at the very end

        Still some vague weak protests
 

        Thirdly teeth and fourthly blood

        And fifthly vomit and sixthly

        In many cases liquids

        Introduced through tubes or by immersing the head

        You mustn't be narrow-minded

        For the freedom to open one's mouth

        Means the same right for every one

        For example, the policemen or the jail wardens.
 

        To force open the stubborn mouth

        Of a political fighter

        Of an innocent prisoner

        What goes into it?

        A lot of oil and a lot of water

        Or the heel of a boot

        Or urine or bloody rags

        Or shit

        Or sawdust or earth

        And what comes out

        As per LAW

        According to due process of LAW

        If all goes well

        Is the

        VOLUNTARY CONFESSION.
 

        The mouth often suffers

        But never the freedom to open one's mouth

        That still obtains in New Delhi

        In all the States

        Indeed the whole of India (Tamilnadu definitely not excluded!)!!
