        A total of 59 events are being covered under men and women categories in the Chennai Corporate Sports Olympiad organised by F5 Ventures.

        Each sport will have gold, silver and bronze medals to be presented at the end of the event. There would be a prestigious Rolling Trophy, which will be awarded to the team with the maximum number of gold medals.

        This event is open to about 32 corporate teams of Chennai. The last date of registration is 17 May. There are no limitations as to the size of the Corporate. The participants should be the full time employees of the company.

        These games would be played over two months period beginning July, said Lalit Bhothra, the event organiser and the brain behind the venture. 'It is an event set up to encourage companies to support employees' pursuit of a more active, healthier lifestyle. It also brings out the skill sets of various employees in sports arena, which are often forgotten due to the fast paced, stressful life,' he added.

        The Olympiad would cover a variety of events, which include cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, athletics, swimming, tennis, golf, bowling, karting, snooker, table tennis, badminton, carrom, chess etc.

        The event would be open to both men and women in most of the categories. Most of the games would be played on a weekend basis, The venues for these events would be the best of places available including Stadiums, Clubs, Indoor and Outdoor tracks and exclusive gaming locations.
