        A hotelier who came to appear in a case pending in the Egmore Court was attacked by some unidentified persons today.

        A resident of Nungambakkam, hotelier Dhanraj along with his lawyer was walking towards Additional Metropolitan Majestrate Court where the assailants started to attack him. They also damaged Dhanraj's car parked on the court premises. Hearing about the incident police rushed to spot. However, the assailants fled.

        Later, around 50 policemen were deployed on the court premises.
