The Indian Army has invited applications from male candidates in Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh, between 21 and 27 years of age, for the post of Junior Commissioner Officer (catering) in the Army. According to a press release, candidates should have completed their 10/+2 examinations or an equivalent and a one-year diploma course in cooking, hotel management and catering technology from a recognised catering institute.
Screened candidates will
have to appear for a written examination on 27 May at the Indian Army Headquarters,
recruiting zone, Fort St George, Chennai. Candidates, who clear the examinations,
will be called for an interview at a later date, added the release. The
last date for sending in applications to the headquarters recruiting zone
is 27 April. Interested candidates can contact the nearest Army recruiting
office/ headquarters recruiting zones in Chennai.
