        Three persons were injured in a clash during a temple festival at Shastri Nagar, Adyar, here, yesterday and were arrested for being responsible for the fight, police said.

        The clash broke out when the trio Ramesh, Raj and Rajesh had reportedly passed mocking remarks at the procession. Some people who were part of the procession protested against it.

        And they assaulted Umapathy, Senthil and Ashok. Two of them were admitted to the Government Royapettah Hospital. Shastri Nagar police have registered a case and arrested the trio.
