        Madras Motor Sports Club will conduct the third edition of the Lanson Toyota Fun Rally which gets underway on 26 August.

        A press release here said the event is being oganised to generate funds for the national charity project of Madras Sterling Ladies Circle 63.

        A total of 100 teams are expected to participate in this year's rally.

        The event will be run on a Time, Speed and Distance (TSD) format and will cover a distance of approximately 70 kms in about three hours within Chennai and its suburbs.

        The rally will feature four categories - Toyota Corolla, Toyota Innova, all women and General - all other cars/ four wheelers.

        Lanson Toyota will be the main sponsor for this event. Popular celebrities will flag off the rally at 9.30 am on the day. Results will be announced the same evening followed by the prize distribution function. Entry fee per team is Rs 600 and the last day of submitting entries is 24 August.
