        A 30- year- old woman chose the noose yesterday as she was not able to pay her debts that accrued while she was running a chit fund.

        A resident of Villivakkam, Bhavani couldn't give back the money to the depositors in her chit fund, hence she took the extreme step in her relative's house at Ayanavaram, say police.

        Local police have registered a case and are investigating.
