        Actor Kamal Haasan has said every actor should evolve his own style and perform with dedication.

        He was speaking after releasing the audio cassette of the movie Vegam starring Ashwin Shekher, son of noted dramatist S Ve Shekher, in Chennai yesterday.

        'Actors like me and Rajnikanth were fortunate to have a mentor like K Balachander in the early days of our career,' Kamal Haasan said.

        'Today's young heroes unfortunately have no such opportunity. They can learn from actors like us. Instead of imitating us, they can try evolve a unique style for them.'

        Kamal Haasan urged contemporary heroes to watch movies of his colleagues and learn about the latest technological advancements in the industry.

        Recalling his long association with S Ve Shekher, Kamal Haasan expressed confidence that Ashwin would go on to establish himself as a successful actor in Tamil filmdom.

        A few songs from the film were screened during the event.
