        Karthik Fine Arts has announced the music season awards for the year 2007. The awards will be given on the inauguration day of the 33rd year art festival at Narada Gana Sabha in December.

        According to a press release, R Ganesh will receive Isai Peroli award, Lavanya Ananth - Nadanamamani, Madurai G S Mani - Tamil Isai vendar, Amirtha Murali - Isai chudar and Iswarya Narayanaswamy - Natya Chudar titles.

        N Bhairavi and N Malavi will receive the D K Pattammal award of excellence, Kartik Rajagopal Golden jubilee award will be given to R Krishnaswami, Sirkazi Govindarajan Memorial award will be given to Tanjavur Sri Sankaraiyer.

        Isai Peroli, Nadana Mamani titles will include a cash prize of Rs 15,000, medallion and a citation, D K Pattamma award of excellence will include Rs 2,000 with certificate and memento and Kartik Rajagopal Golden jubilee award include a cash prize of Rs 3,000, certificate and memento.
