        State Local Administration Minister M K Stalin will distribute free colour television in Thousand Lights and R K Nagar Assembly constituencies on 24 August.

        According to an official press release, the CTVs will be given to those residing at Thousand Lights (Ward 112) and R K Nagar (Ward 9).

        On 25 August, Union Minister for Shipping and Surface Transport T R Baalu will distribute CTVs at Saidapet (Ward 136), T Nagar (Ward 126), Triplicane (Ward 87) and Mylapore (Ward 147).

        Similarly, Member of Parliament (North Chennai) C Kuppusami will distribute at Perambur ( Ward 31) and Purasaiwalkam (Ward 57) in presence of MLAs C Mahendran and V S Babu respectively.

        State Finance Minister K Anbazhagan, State Electricity Minister Arcot N Veerasamy and State Information Minister Parithi Ilamvazhuthi will also distribute CTVs on 26 August at Royapuram (Ward 20) and Harbour (Ward 30), Anna Nagar (Ward 77) and Egmore (Ward 100) respectively.

        Mayor M Subramanian, while presiding over the function, will also distribute CTVs at Park Town (Ward 43).
