Thieves strike in different places
in Chennai
Robbers struck at two houses and a cellphone showroom in different parts
of Chennai. The thieves struck at the cellphone showroom on Harleys
Road at Kilpauk by breaking open the shutters and got away with 20 expensive
cellphones.
One held for indecent act
A 32-year-old software engineer from Bangalore who allegedly tried to
kiss a woman in an inebriated state at a party in a star hotel in the city
was arrested.
Bonded labourers freed from company
Forty bonded labourers, who have been working in a salt company for
the past two years, have been released from Kancheepuram. The contractor
who hired them is being interrogated.

Poised to rise high, PMK style
