        Tata Indicom has come out with internet facility with pre-paid walky. This would enable the existing as well as the new pre-paid walky customers to experience hassle free and fast internet connectivity.

        To connect to the internet, the subscribers should have an internet enabled LG LSP 350T Walky and Data cable to connect the phone to the personal computer. Modem is not required as the 350T Walky has an inbuilt modem.

        The product is priced at Rs 1,999 and internet access charges at Rs 2. Data cable has to be purchased separately. An installation software CD is given free of cost with the data cable.

        Commenting on this, Ravinder Taneja, COO, Tata Teleservices Ltd said, 'there is continous increase in the penetration of computers in urban and rural areas, resulting in an increasing demand for internet access.
